Hey Hanni,
its not really monday blues I am generally passionate about such things. Charlton Heston was one of my pet hates.
I'm cool, working again, at RBS now, just by Lpool St station. Been here 3 weeks.

How you finding it at RBS ?

What a cunt, good riddance to a right wing fucker who really needed a good case of death years ago.
He was actually a fervent activist against racism in America and a supporter of the civil rights movement. |

He was, then Ronnie Reagan asked him to join him and he became a right winger, interesting article in the Independent about that. The whole NRA thing was a disgrace. They are such a destabalising influence. They even want to arm kids. |

Doesn't detract from the fact that he was anti-slavery and pro-Civil Rights because he was ultimately a right-winger, does it? |

People change, and there is no excuse for backing the NRA. The stuff you're talking about was 20 years before. |

He didn't become racist, did he?
What's so wrong with his endorsement of the NRA? |

Didn't say he was a racist. However his backing of the NRA was morally wrong. If you have looked up what a good guy he was I suggest you do some research into the bad things about the NRA and see what you think.
He also led the shareholders at Warner in a crusade against Hip Hop because it was violent and profane (this from the man who sells guns). |

Morally wrong from your stance but not from his nor the law-abiding members of the NRA- or, for that matter, the majority of Americans who see the right to bear arms as an inalienable right as part of the fabric of their free society.
The NRA don't condone violence like rap artists do nor do they glamourise gun use. |
