FUCKING brilliant show!
been hooked since the first episode.
I love the way this series is so dark in comparison to the first one.
Personally, i think Tony is going to start having flashbacks of being such a twat and end up going crazy on a dark path... which ultimatley ends up with him harming Sid... i feel as though that's the way this season is headed. |

im not so sure about that phatboy....this season is very very dark compared to the all partying 1st series. I have a feeling this season will go on to be about "recovery".
Anwar is the only character who is still hilarious! But everyone else seems to be having hardtimes. Innit.

this series seems better. tony isnt such a smirking git. and it seems to have a bit more genuine drama, not just lighthearted shenenigans. which is good.
anwar is hilarious though. that one where he was singing along to akons i just wanna fuck you was brill. |

No idea. That girl (the figment of his imagination) was hot, by the way. She looked a bit like Effey at the end, didn't she? Think that's maybe why she made that comment about him sleeping with his sister at the beginning. Remember the episode in the last series where he texted Michelle from that guy's phone with his sister's naked pictures? Episode 6 was his subconscious talking to him with some hints of past events.
Last week's episode was Effey's episode, non? |

On a serious note - wow! Monday's episode was brilliant - there was a whole can of worms that managed to get opened by the end of it - the mystery apperance of Chris's mum left a sour undertone, and to be quite honest - that was my fvourite sequence from a skins episode - and i have a LOT of "favourite," sequences...
The direction was spot on - the spilled milk, Chris crying, his mum leaving and cassie feeling powerless to stop anything... after all - power was the topic of the episode. |

Satpal - the difference is, it's not corporationalised... Fox ruined PB because they wanted to keep ratings as high as they were, the writers had to keep the twists and turns coming and in the end they just bored the fuck out of the audience.
Skins is written well, and directed well, and in turn - heightens an actor's performance. Have faith in the team, they seem to know what they're doing. IF by ep. 5 of season 3 i'm not convinced, i'll stop watching, but i'll give it that chance... It's like getting to watch a whole new bunch of fucked up teenagers get fucked up... they'll have different trials and tribulations. |
