What does this mans election mean for politics in the UK on a wider scale?

I know one could argue this wasn't really a pro Tory or anti Labour vote but more so an anti-Ken Vote but still all eyes will be on City Hall for the next 2 years (or until an election is called) to see how a Tory administration will do.

If Boris succeeds Cameron will be proclaiming 'we can run London, now let us run the country' or conversely Broon could be saying 'look what the Tories did to London, do you want them to do the same to the uk'.

Should be some interesting times ahead.

The way bottler Brown and his Labour party are imploding, even if Boris does make a mess of things Labour will struggle to win a general election.
